How to do it
------ Remove the pump and fill the RainMan tank with cold water to
within 5cm or 2” from the top of the tank, about 12 litres or 3 Gallons --- Place the tank
on a robust 7,500btu gas stove or burner for around 15 minutes ---- when the LCD strip
thermometer on the side of the tank reaches the correct temperature remove from heat
immediately -- insert the pump and raise the telescopic pipe system up out of the tank
to a height that suites you,

Tilt the showerhead up and pump the handle ---- 8 to 10 times then tilt the
shower head down a little and the hot water will start flowing  By tilting the showerhead
down in stages - you can get anywhere between a 10-minute & a 5-minute pressurized
hot shower -- when the pressure drops pump the handle 30 to 40 times and so on until
you finish your shower -- It only takes 15 seconds or less to pump the handle 30 times

Number of pumps required ---- During a 5-minute shower you would need
to pump the handle approx. 30 to 40 times twice --- For a 10-minute shower you would
need approximately 30 to 40 pumps 3 times. It only takes 15 seconds or less to pump
the handle 30 times

To release the pressure in the tank If you have finished your shower
and have not used all of the water in the tank - you can release the pressure by pulling
the ring up on
the spring loaded valve and save the water for your next shower.

Hint To prolong your shower, tilt the showerhead up while soaping up or pumping as
this will save water and you will enjoy a lot longer shower - than the times shown above
and two people can have a good 5 - minute shower or longer, on the one tank fill.

There's is no fiddling around trying to adjust the water to the correct temperature and
if required the RainMan hot camp shower can be heated ----------
beside the camp fire

The flow rate is regulated at the showerhead -- to decrease the water flow tilt the
showerhead up, to increase the water flow tilt it down ------ As you tilt the showerhead
down the flow rate will increase until you reach the maximum high flow position. For a
10-minute shower tilt showerhead down slightly for a 8 minute shower tilt showerhead
down a little more and so on when you reach the maximum high flow position you will
still get a good 5 minute hot shower.

This shower does not dribble, the water comes out of the showerhead under pressure

Rain Man Hot Camp Shower Image -- low flow rate

Rain Man Hot Camp Shower Image -- high flow rate

At this flow rate you will get a good
10 minute hot shower.

At this flow rate you will get a good
5 minute hot shower

Hint To prolong your shower tilt the showerhead up while soaping up or pumping, as
this will save water - and you will enjoy a lot longer shower than the times shown above
and two people can have a good 5 - minute shower or longer, on the one tank fill.

The water temperature remains constant --------
There is no fiddling around trying to
adjust the water to the correct temperature - It doesn't matter if you use the high or low
flow rate or anywhere in-between the water temperature will remain the same throughout
your entire shower. If you like the water beating on your body then this is the shower for
you ----- The water pressure can be regulated by the number of pumps and by tilting the
showerhead up or down.

There are 5 ways of heating the water & using the RainMan hot camp shower

Method # 1 - Heat the water with gas --
Fill the RainMan tank with cold water and
place directly onto a heavy duty gas stove or a robust gas burner.

Method # 2 - Heat the water in a kettle
then pour the hot water into the RainMan
and top it up with cold water.
5
Method # 3 -
Fill the RainMan tank with cold water then place it beside - Not on top
Beside
the campfire.  Remove the showerhead and face the thermometer away
from the heat.

Method # 4 -
Use as a Solar shower Fill the RainMan tank with cold water and leave
it out in the sun to heat, this method takes a while - But it works well.

Method # 5
-
Don't heat the water -- on a hot day you can have a nice cool shower by
the pool, on the beach, after a swim or a dive or a hot days camping.

There is no assembly required -- All you need to do is fill the tank with water heat
it to a temperature that suites you and your hot shower is ready. It is that simple.

The showerhead is 63mm or 2½ inches in diameter and is designed to get you wet.
The water comes out under pressure like your normal shower at home --- not in a fine
mist or a dribble like some water saving showerheads -- Behind the showerhead there
is a stainless steel strainer to prevent any small particles from entering and blocking
the holes in the head.

There is no need for: batteries, battery chargers, extra gas cylinders, electric water
pumps, hand held showerheads, elect. cables, 4W Drives, hoses or buckets of water.

Many other uses: With the pipe system down & showerhead removed the RainMan
can be used like a hot tap for  washing dishes, clothes, children, adults, pets etc.

Re: recent purchase of Showerman.
Hi guys, I said I would give you some feed back on the new shower unit after a couple
of times away with it.

Overall reaction from group was good. Well constructed, simple to set up/use and looks
good, light enough in weight for female members to carry and set up on their own.
Capacity fine for two people to shower before refill. Great ability to walk well away from
vehicle /camp and shower without setting up screens etc.

Everybody liked the idea of being able to heat the water in the unit rather than having to
carry additional containers to heat the water in.

We used the 'beside the fire' method and filling from a kettle 'method' but the heating in
the shower unit was without doubt the quickest and least fuss. We had a lot of fun with
the unit and the group was a great deal cleaner than they would normally have been.

Best regards, *****  ******* Australia

Hello Shelley, I am very interested in the camp shower.
This looks like a wonderful thing and since I belong to a membership campground with
no showers,  I think many of them could sell here. We have hundreds of members.
Thank you.

Shelley,   We received the Rain Man and finally had a chance to utilize this weekend.

It worked as advertised!! You really have an ingenious design!!

My new rain man came last week it worked just outstanding so easy its just a no fuss
item. Me and my wife both showered on one tank.
Had a hard time finding one but got one in the end :waycool:
Anybody thinking of getting one of these units you will not regret it.

I need a Rainman shower. Do you have any American distributors? This is the only
product suited to my needs on the internet.

Hi Shelley, WE LOVE YOUR SHOWER. (Me and my Woman that is)
Your RainMan is the quickest and easiest to use, just fill with water heat and shower,
beats the hell out of all the others and I know because I am a Camp Shower Expert.

We have had that many different camp showers over the past 15 years including one of
the latest new fandangle gas electric ones. (Sold it on eBay) Your shower gets you wet
and the pressure is great in fact we found you don't need to run it at full speed about half
throttle is just nice and you get a nice 7 minute shower.

Thanks for the quick delivery and we wish you well with your new RainMan camp shower.
Actually these showers will really take off once the word gets out. Thanks for supplying
us campers with such great products.

hi, what a great product. I have been looking for something like this for quite awhile there
are similar ones that are not of your quality here and they can not be heated in ways
yours can, there are others with propane heaters and pumps and are to much trouble.
I go to many music festivals and camp 3 seasons and know this would go over big in
USA or my neck of the woods Michigan.

Dear Rain Man,  Have tried various shower arrangements over many years of bush
camping. Currently using a 12V Turbo Shower, quite effective but has drawback of
having to be close enough to vehicle to plug in. Your hot camp shower has advantages
of simplicity, portability and is a self-contained unit.

I like your design and I can hardly wait to try it out!   Thanks.

Hi again, hope all is going well, was wondering how things are going and if rainman is
available in usa yet. again i am at a festival and many have there own homemade and
bought camp showers and i am still convinced that yours still tops them all,
Best Wishes on your venture,

Shelley - We loved the camp shower! It was perfect for our fish camp in Alaska. Thanks
for developing such a perfect device for remote operations. We really appreciate a hot
shower after getting covered in Salmon fish slime all day!

***** ****** Main Bay -- Prince William Sound Alaska

Just purchased a Rain Man Camp Shower unit for up coming trip. Shared one with another
couple on a six week trip up the csr etc last winter. Very simple unit, no motors just heat up
stainless steel cylinder and pump it up and out comes enough hot water for 2 full showers.
