How to do it --- Set your toilet up on cleared level ground. Dig a hole 20cm or 8" in dia
cut the bottom out of an In-viro™ bag --- place it inside the toilet with about 7cm or 3" folded
over the top, close the seat and secure the catch. This will keep the inside of the camp toilet
sparkling clean. If you have dug your hole approximately 50cm or 20" deep it will last a family
for several days, fill in the hole with dirt before you leave.

A bucket can be used inside this toilet -- To keep it clean use an In-viro
bag inside the bucket --- *Gelling powder can be used in the *bucket or in the *In-viro™ bags.
When ready for disposal tie off the In-viro™ bag, carry the bucket with the bag inside it to the
nearest disposal area - The In-viro™ bag and the gelled waste can then be disposed of safely
and responsibly as other people will soon be visiting the same area you have just left 

Gelling powder is a super absorbent chemical -- called Sodium Poly
Acrylate similar to that found in disposable baby nappies -- When gelling powder is used in a portable toilet it turns the liquid waste into a gel, envelopes the solids and reduces the odour.
It prevents spillage and makes the waste safer to handle -- The powder is added to the camp
toilet before use --- 42 grams or 1½ oz of gelling powder will gel 2 litres or ½ a gallon of urine.
You may need to add water to cover the faeces if no urine is present.

Recently ordered a Thunderbox toilet to be shipped to the UK and felt I had to write
you to tell you how fantastic it is!!! We do airbrushed tattoos at all the music festivals
so you can imagine what a state the public loos get into, particularly by the second
or third day.  We lined ours with black bin liners and disposed of them as and when
needed - worked a treat. It really saved my life - what a star.  Unfortunately it's coming
up to the end of our weather impoverished summer here  (actually we've had a heatwave
for the last month) but I still haven't stopped raving about it. Expect lots of orders from
the UK next year when it all kicks off again.

Several people chatting on the net about -- Jimmy's ThunderBox

I use a Jimmy's Thunderbox and find it great, so does my wife. It folds down nice and flat
taking up very little room, and weighs very little. We do not use a bag or anything else to
line it and don't find it a problem. If you do happen to spray paint it after a night on the red
wine, it wouldn't take much water to clean up.

-- We use a Jimmy Thunderbox. Folds up like a stool type loo but is much more robust.
-- Check out Jimmy's Thunderbox, very portable and comfortable.
-- We also own a porta-loo, In fact we upgrade from a porta-loo to a Thunderbox.
-- Jimmy's Thunderbox is hard to beat! They fold flat and very easy to use.
-- When we camp we take a porta potti and Jimmy and hardly ever use the potti.
-- Any good camping shop has them or check out on the net.
-- We carry both a  Porta Pottie and a Jimmy's Thunderbox. It hardly takes up any space.
-- We use Jimmy's Thunderbox when ever we can, it works a treat.
-- JTB packs flatter than a cane toad on a busy highway and takes two seconds to set it up.
-- Seems there's a huge advantage in the fold up capabilities of the Jimmy's Thunderbox.
